ASCO CARBON DIOXIDE has expanded its dry ice product portfolio with the launching of its ASCO electric Active Dry Ice Saw – AAS.
Believed to be the world’s first mass-produced active dry ice saw that has been specially designed for cutting dry ice slices, the innovation marks a major milestone for the dry ice market.
The saw has a capacity of up to 600 slices per hour and can cut the dry ice blocks up to a thickness of 70mm into two or three pieces, all of which allow dry ice producers to significantly increase production capacity.
Further to that, depending on customer requirements, the active dry ice saw can be converted to the optional double saw blades in just a few minutes. This means that small, non-standard block sizes can also be produced.
On the new innovation, Marco Pellegrino, Managing Director of ASCO CARBON DIOXIDE, said, “With the world’s first series-produced active dry ice saw, ASCO underlines its ambition to be one of the market leaders in dry ice production.
“With our product portfolio, we are able to cover the wishes of our customers and to constantly optimising the portfolio. We’ve also achieved this with the new type of dry ice active saw.”
The SCO Active Dry Ice Saw – ASS can be integrated into different production centres and in combination with other ASCO products.
