Leading dry ice blasting technology company ASCO is participating at Metef, the international aluminium exhibition, in Brescia, Italy next month.

The best technological innovations across the aluminium and metals chain will be on show at the event, as well as the high performance and functional technological expertise of the ASCO group.

To that end, ASCO is inviting friends, clients and potential clients to its booth C08 in hall 7 of the event in the Garda Exhibition Centre in Brescia.

ASCO will be demonstrating its latest innovations in the field of dry ice blasting technology. For example, the ASCOJET Dry Ice Blasting Technology stands for high performance and handy Dry Ice Blasting Units. This cleaning method can be applied directly in the process without removing the forms, therefore protecting the forms as well as avoiding production stops.

As in most industries, in the foundry industry cleaning is also of utmost importance. Particularly the cleaning of the steel moulds and core boxes in light alloy, casting foundry and grey cast iron foundries becomes increasingly important – as it increases not only the quality, but also productivity and the cost can be optimised.

In addition, ASCO has revealed that it has undergone a restructuring or ‘reinforcement’ of its sales organisation, following the departure of Mario Principe as Sales Manager for CO2 Plants and Equipment.

Principe left the position on 8th March (2010) and since then, Marco Pellegrino has been placed in charge of Marketing and Sales for Sales Worldwide for ASCO CARBON DIOXIDE LTD, reporting to Wolfgang Pöschl, Managing Director.

For the department CO2 Plants and Equipment, Jürg Maron and Paul Rüegg are responsible as Regional Sales Directors. Newly appointed to the role of Sales Director DIB in the area of Dry Ice Blasting is Roberto Sammali.
