Atlas Copco is expanding its North American footprint, having today (29th July) acquired the operating assets of Compressed Air Products.

The transaction follows a number of acquisitions recently made by the industrial group.

Based in Georgia, Compressed Air Products is the latest to join the Atlas Copco company, with approximately 20 employees and a strong service business.

Compressed Air Products sells to a broad range of industrial customer segments.

On the transaction, Vagner Rego, Business Area President Compressor Technique, said, “Compressed Air Products has a strong reputation in the Georgia market.”

“We have a long relationship with Compressed Air Products as a distributor. This acquisition is in line with our strategy to get closer with our customers.”

Now acquired, Compressed Air Products will become part of the service division within the Compressor Technique business area.

The purchase price was not disclosed.
