Auguste Cryogenics SK s.r.o has become the exclusive European distributor of Taylor-Wharton’s liquid cylinders after the parties signed a long-term distribution agreement.
Under the new agreement, of which financial details were not disclosed, Auguste Cryogenics will exclusively distribute Taylor-Wharton’s extensive line of gas and liquid withdrawal cylinders throughout Europe, Russia and Israel.
Slovakia-based Auguste Cryogenics will utilise the German facility that it acquired last year as part of its takeover of Taylor-Wharton International’s European operations to maintain inventory, sales and deliveries of the cylinders.
Eric Rottier, Chairman and CEO of Taylor-Wharton, said that the new contract “provides continuity of supply” of its liquid cylinder product line.
The liquid cylinder line-up includes a range of operating pressures and storage capacities that are designed and built to strict European standards. Each vessel has a premium vacuum integrity and are reinforced with a full circle shock-mount ring to prevent fatigue throughout its service life.
Auguste Cryogenics acquired Taylor-Wharton International’s European outfit in October 2016, augmenting its presence in Europe by procuring strategic sites in both Germany and Slovakia.
In the procurement, Auguste Cryogenics acquired Taylor-Wharton’s cryogenic pressure vessel manufacturing facility in Slovakia and the related warehouse and office complex of Taylor-Wharton Germany GmbH.
Bobby Cushman, President of Auguste Cryogenics, explained, “By partnering with Taylor-Wharton, our company strengthens its product offerings as we continue to find new ways to serve our customers. We are committed to providing our customers greater access to high quality cryogenic products and we will invest in technology and relationships that allow us to provide best of industry solutions and cryogenic systems.”
