Large capacity storage tanks are to be offered by American Welding & Tank LLC (AWT) next year, after the company recently announced the expansion of its product line.

AWT, a Division of Taylor-Wharton International LLC, has revealed the introduction of a new line of large capacity bulk storage tanks to its product offering.

The company will immediately begin accepting orders for storage tanks ranging in size from 2,000 gallon (7,571 litres) to 100,000 gallon (378,550 litres) capacities.

Mike Larsen, President of American Welding & Tank LLC, explained that the new line of large capacity storage tanks takes advantage of the shared resources available within the Taylor-Wharton International family of brands.

Ted Reilly, AWT’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing, affirmed this and stated, “Our American Welding & Tank sales organisation is ideally positioned to lead the marketing efforts for the new product line and our Taylor-Wharton Cryogenics factory in Theodore, Alabama has the technological expertise and proven experience in producing large ASME vessels.

“This unique combination of resources provides us with an excellent opportunity to expand our market presence in North America,” Reilly added.

American Welding & Tank’s Director of Business Development, Jim Alderman, also said, “The addition of the new LP storage tank line is evidence of AWT’s commitment to offer the propane gas community the broadest range of products and services in the industry. The addition of the new large capacity tank line positions AWT as the only company in the US offering a full line of new and refurbished tanks to the LP gas industry.”

Alderman also added, “Combined with the August 2008 acquisition of Certified Cylinder in Crossville, Tennessee, AWT has now expanded the company’s menu of products and service twice in the past five months and plans continued growth in 2009.”

Founded in 1917, American Welding & Tank is an established North American leader in propane tank manufacturing, refurbishing services and recycling. AWT’s tanks are found in residential, commercial, industrial and agriculture applications.

Taylor-Wharton International LLC operates 19 manufacturing, sales, warehouse and service facilities in six countries and markets its products in over 80 countries worldwide.
