Ballard Power Systems has successfully closed a strategic collaboration transaction with Weichai Power Co.
The Canadian company revealed the collaboration back in August at a public event in Jinan, China.
Ballard signs historic strategic collaboration with Weichai Power
The collaboration includes a substantial equity investment by Weichai in Ballard of approximately $163.6m, representing a 19.9% interest in the company and reflecting a price based on a 15% premium to the 30-day VWAP.
