BOC Edward has announced the opening of a new European semiconductor headquarters located in Grenoble, France.

The aim of transferring its headquarters from the UK to France is to be closer
to key customers of the European semiconductor industry.

Fifty employees from its sales, business management and applications
engineering functions have been relocated to the new location.

The company also intends to leverage the research and development concentration in the area to hire for technical positions in engineering, project management, and service and support.

Olivier Blachier, general manager of European semiconductor business said: $quot;BOC Edwards intends to increase their presence in key markets such as the photovoltaic industry, compound semiconductor devices and outsourcing services.$quot;
