BOC Australia has built upon its services to the welding industry and expanded its product range, with the introduction of the Smootharc DC 185 TIG welding machine.
Recently named as Company of the Year 2008 by the Welding Technology Institute of Australia (WTIA), BOC has made the new product available through its Gas & Gear network across the country.
The Smootharc DC 185 TIG, with HF arc initiation and pulse capability, is the latest addition to the Smootharc welding range. The TIG package includes Smootharc DC 185 TIG Welder, TIG Torch and TIG Torch accessory kit, flowmeter/regulator, operating manual and electrode holder and work return leads.
Nic Bothma, Technical Manager of Industrial Products at BOC, commented on the new addition, “The Smootharc DC 185 is an inverter-based TIG welding machine with added MMA welding capability that delivers high quality TIG welding of steel, stainless steel and copper.”
