Boeing extends three year contract with Airgas

Airgas, Inc. has signed a three year extension to its safety product supply agreement with The Boeing Company.
The first year of the contract alone will deliver revenue of $19m. The agreement ratifies Airgas as the primary provider of safety and industrial-hygiene products for Boeing.
Patrick Visintainer, Airgas Senior Vice President in the Materials and Multi-Sector markets, commented, “We are pleased to continue our partnership with The Boeing Company. Our relationship with Boeing goes back more than 15 years and includes Airgas being recognised as one of Boeing’s top suppliers in past years with Boeing Performance Excellence Awards. This three-year contract extension underscores Airgas’ commitment to providing the right safety solutions and the best value for Boeing.”
Airgas is a maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supplier. The company has developed a strategic organisation that focuses on specific market segments in order to fully understand customer challenges and provide custom-tailored solutions. Airgas market segment leaders work with account managers and teams within 12 Airgas regional organisations and around 850 branch locations nationwide to provide the right solutions for a broad array of industries. Boeing’s needs are being addressed by Airgas strategic accounts group and Airgas safety.
