Bronkhorst High-Tech BV has added a new series to its family of liquid flow meters.
In addition to its range of instruments based on the thermal and Coriolis measuring principle, the Netherlands-based company has introduced a unique series of low-flow ultrasonic flow meters and controllers for liquids.

The ES-FLOWTM Ultrasonic Flow Meter features a new ultrasonic wave technology for higher accuracy, faster response and fluid independence.
It was designed to measure tiny volume flows up to 1,500 millilitres per minute with high precision, high linearity and low pressure drop by using ultrasound in a small bore tube.
The flow meter is also self-draining due to its combination of a straight sensor tube with zero dead volume. Its orbital TIG-welding allows hygienic connections so the instrument can be used for hygienic applications.
The new low-flow liquid flow meters and controllers have been designed for use in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, medical and chemical markets where precision fluid handling is imperative.
