Burch Tank now offers a GPS tracking and monitoring device for all new tanks, as well as existing tanks.
The solar powered GPS temperature monitoring unit
For many tank haulers, knowing the location of their tanks and making sure the temperature of the tanks is within tolerance, is critical.
The solar powered unit from Burch Tank produces temperature readings through web-based software available via a smart phone, tablet, or computer. The device receives data based on custom parameters set by the user. An alert is then generated and sent to the users device if the temperature goes above or below the desired temperature for the load.
The unit eliminates battery replacement and related downtime expenses with self-charging, dual integrated panels that use direct or indirect sunlight to replenish power, year after year.
According to David Daymon, Sales at Burch Tank, “This unit will give the customer some piece of mind knowing where their tank is. It allows them to watch the tank and load to ensure they get the maximum amount for their load.”
“It also allows the customer to stay on top of preventative maintenance for their tank, keeping them at maximum performance,” he added.
These GPS tracking and temperature monitoring devices can be retrofitted on any brand of tank by a Burch Tank installer. It gives customer improved security and increased operational efficiency.
