Burckhardt Compression, a Switzerland-based gas compression solutions company, has released its half year results which highlight higher order intakes and sales for the business.
Order intake and sales for the first half 2019 were higher compared to the same period from the previous year. Operating profit and net profit were also sharply higher year-on-year.
Group order intake for the first half of the 2019 fiscal year increased 8.7% from the prior-year period to CHF 329.5m ($332m).
Consolidated Group sales of CHF 276.2m ($278m) for the first half of the year surpassed the figure for the prior-year period by 7%.
