Butler is increasing its distribution presence around the New Brighton store and acetylene manufacturing plant, with the intention of serving expanding markets north and west of Pittsburgh.
“Our Beaver County roots date back to 1948,” says Pennsylvania-based Butler Gas Products, “And we’re continually investing back into our New Brighton location.”
The company also has a store east of Pittsburgh in Penn Hills/Verona and industrial gas and specialty gas plants in McKees Rocks, PA.
History in Beaver County
“The Beaver Valley has always been home to Butler Gas Products,” the company says in a statement. “In 1948, our founders, Jack and Millie Butler moved to the area from Reading and started their gas and welding supply business.”
“Jack managed the warehouse and sales functions while Millie mastered the office. The young couple hired a driver to make deliveries, and with that, Butler Gas Products as we know it today was born.” ”
