Spanish hydrogen solutions specialist Calvera will supply equipment and systems for two hydrogen refuelling stations to be located in the Polish cities of Poznam and Katowice following a deal signed with Biproraf, S.P.Z.O.O (Biproraf).

The stations will be fitted with equipment supplied by Calvera that will allow the supply of hydrogen at 350 bar for heavy vehicles and 700 bar for light vehicles (both 1.6 tonnes per day hydrogen capacity).

In addition to 300 bar type IV tube trailers – necessary for transportation – Calvera will supply storages of up to 900 bar, discharge panels, compression systems, and dispensers.

Commenting on the deal, Rafael Calvera, Executive Vice-President, Calvera, said, “We are delighted to work with Biproraf, an engineering and construction company of long tradition, of the highest quality and great experience.”

“The complementarity of both companies will be the key to the success of the projects.”

Although currently undisclosed, Calvera has stated the contract value will be included in the company’s second quarter 2022 bookings, prior to completion of the work with Biproraf in 2023.
