Carbon capture technology and service company Carbon Clean is focused on its growth plans as the firm looks to accelerate and scale up its ground-breaking technologies.

Focused on such growth, the company today (8th September) announced the appointment of Rohan Kallicharan as Director of People and Talent, as well as a new global headquarters.

Already, Carbon Clean’s headcount has grown by 200% since the close of its Series B funding round in July 2020, however, the company now wants this number to again double by the end of this year.

Kallicharan will be in charge of such growth, utilising his background in talent acquisition and building teams in high growth organisations.

On his appointment, Kallicharan said, “Our technology can truly impact the lives of generations to come. However, the mission will only come to life with brilliant people behind it.”

“The opportunity, as a people leader, to scale and build on a great culture is absolutely compelling and I’m so excited about the journey ahead of us.”

Supporting the anticipated growth, Carbon Clean will move into its new global headquarters in Southwark, London – a move which is expected to take place this autumn. As well as the new London location, the company will also establish regional hubs in North America.

On the plans, Aniruddha Sharma, CEO of Carbon Clean, said, “We are thrilled to welcome Rohan to our growing team. His passion and enthusiasm will ensure we recruit and keep the very best people, achieving our global growth plans while preserving our culture and values.”
