Approval has been granted for tube and pipe producing company CENTRAVIS to supply stainless steel pipes to the Middle East’s Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Co, Ltd. (ADGAS).
The endorsement will see CENTRAVIS supply general tubes and pipes and instrumentation tubing, as well as pipes for heat exchangers, boilers and cooling systems to ADGAS.
The LNG company, based in Abu Dhabi, is the leading producer of LNG and LPG in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) area.
The Ukrainian company is already a leading global supplier of seamless stainless steel tubes and pipes, but is hoping to widen its client base with this new agreement. Fedor Smirniy, the Area Sales Manager for CENTRAVIS, explained, “With CENTRAVIS now on the list of their approved suppliers, we have the opportunity to strengthen our position in the region and attract new customers.”
In the last decade many countries around the globe have decided to reduce their dependence on oil and coal and by choosing natural gas, this has made LNG a critically important component of the global primary energy mix.

LNG and cryogenic bulk industrial gas present very similar challenges in terms of their storage, handling, transport and distribution, creating synergies between the technology and expertise of the two industries.
A whole host of products and technologies developed either by or for the industrial gases community are utilised in the LNG sector to ensure safety, maximise efficiencies, and successfully deliver the finished product. A range of cryogenic valves, pumps, tanks and trailers are increasingly deployed in LNG applications, while piping is another area of equipment usage.
