The Linde Distributor Association (LDA) Board of Directors has appointed Emmett Aldredge III, co-president of Arc3 Gases, as a member of its Board of Directors, a step up from his previous role as Board Advisor.
Bryan Keen, president of Keen Compressed Gases Company in Delaware, US, will replace Aldredge as Board Advisor and will assist with business management activities.
Mark Falconer, LDA co-chairman, said, “We are happy to welcome Emmett to the LDA Board. He has a wealth of experience as an independent distributor, which will be invaluable to the association in our efforts to strengthen and increase our services to our membership.
Linde LLC provides the LDA, which was launched in 1993, with administrative support, participates in vendor selection and programmes, manages committees and provides guidance on best practices and changing trends in the industrial gases industry.
LDA has 62 member companies in over 400 retail location throughout the US. Combined, LDA members have made over $1bn in annual purchases and have earned $27m in rebates since the group was established. Products purchased include welding and cutting equipment, consumables, and gas containment and handling equipment.
The Nomination Committee of the Supervisory Board of Linde AG, will recommend Professor Dr. Wolfgang Reitzle to become Chairman of its Supervisory Board.
