Chart Cooler Service Company, Inc., a subsidiary of Chart Industries, Inc., has received a major supply award for gas compression equipment in the US.
The agreement will see Chart Cooler provide air-cooled heat exchangers for a natural gas compression application as part of a major gas gathering project in the Permian Basin in West Texas.
In total, the company will deliver 20 large, horizontal, forced draft air coolers throughout the summer of 2017. The devices will be engineered and fabricated at its facility in Tulsa.
This latest order supplements a previous one from the second half of 2016 that saw Chart provide more than 20 air-cooled heat exchangers for gas processing applications for the same operator and field.
Adam Stashick, Vice-President and General Motor at Chart’s Tulsa operation, said, “We are proud that our long heritage and proven expertise enables first class companies to select Chart Cooler Service Company as a single source for all of their air-cooled heat exchanger requirements.”
“These important orders and others like them, continue to improve our backlog of projects and enable us to increase our local workforce.”
Chart Cooler Service Company offers a complete range of forced and included draft air-cooled heat exchangers across a large spectrum of gas compression and gas processing applications in support of gas processing and transmission, refining and power markets.
