Chart Industries has today released its ESG Performance Report, which highlights the company’s carbon reduction efforts and support to help customers achieve net zero carbon emission targets.
Heavily involved in the clean energy transition, Chat currently provides technology, equipment and services related to LNG, hydrogen, biogas and biomethane amongst other applications.
In a statement released today, the company explains that reporting its ESG performance is one of the ways it demonstrates accountability and transparency to team members, suppliers, customers and communities.
Highlights of the ESG include:
- Enabling customers to utilise natural gas as a bridge fuel to a low-carbon future, advancing technology for liquid hydrogen and other clean energy sources, as well as support greater access to clean water.
- The launch of three unique programmes, in the past twelve months, to further develop and diversify the workforce and develop the next generation of leaders.
- Meeting customer requirements for information on Chart’s ESG performance.
- Actively participating in the communities where Chart operates, through donations to charitable organisations, and fundraising for causes such as cancer research, food banks, and local hospitals.
“ESP is part of our culture,” said Jill Evanko, Chart Industries President and CEO.
“We are pleased that our ESG efforts extend beyond our business to impacting our customers’ ESG targets. For example, our nitrogen dosing equipment has helped beverage customers reduce the plastics used in their bottles by over 30%.”
