Three of Chart Industries’ facilities in the US have received Occupational Health and Safety Accreditations for processes related to its heat exchangers and cold boxes.
The sites earned the BS OHSAS 18001;2007 accreditation for the sales, design, manufacture and service of the company’s air cooled and brazed aluminium heat exchangers and cold boxes.
The internationally-recognised certification acknowledges occupational procedures and controls that achieve optimum working conditions and reinforce health and safety in the workplace.
Chart’s facilities in Wisconsin, Oklahoma and Louisiana all received the endorsements.
The video below features a snapshot of daily operations at Chart’s waterside New Iberia facility in Louisiana - one of the sites that earned the accolade - shipping cold boxes for a nitrogen (N2) rejection unit.
Chart Ferox has manufactured two giant cryogenic plants to be used in the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor’s (ITER’s) project to create and control fusion.
