PBI-Dansensor has launched a new version of the CheckMate gas analyser. The CheckMate 3 is designed to meet quality control measurement needs for Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) applications.
With consumers demanding fresh, quality produce, the demand for MAP consistency is growing. The new CheckMate 3 analyser has been designed to provide the high levels of quality control for gas composition in a gas-flushed package.
The unit combines sensitive gas analysis with automatic data logging. Karsten Kejlhof, PBI-Dansensor’s Sales and Marketing Director, commented, “We are constantly seeking to improve our products and make them easier to use.” He continued, “Checkmate II is a great machine, but CheckMate 3 is even better: it is possible to take what is a very good product and improve it.”
PBI-Dansensor report that the new model benefits from improved usability. Features include a larger, easily read colour touch-screen display, while data may be stored both in the unit or transferred to specific or third party software. CheckMate 3 is also compatible with a variety of quality control systems. Similarly, the unit is low-maintenance with a calibration interval of 12 months.
