Kaifeng Air Separation Group (KFAS), based in Kaifeng city of Henan province of China, has signed a contract for two sets of 60000 Nm3/h air separation plant - a big order for the start of 2018.

The ASUs are for the hydrogen (H2) from coal comprehensive utilisation project of Jingmen Petrochemicals Company. In addition to the air gases of oxygen (O2 ), nitrogen (N2), and argon (Ar), carbon dioxide (CO2) and synthetic gas will also be supplied via pipelines to the plant area.


In addition, it is known that KFAS has also recently signed a contract with Shaangu Power Group to supply three sets of 42000 Nm3/h ASU. These ASUs will be used for the three million tonnes per annum stainless steel integrated complex phase two project in Indonesia and Shaangu Power is the general contractor of the ASU project.

Meanwhile, early on 2nd January, Shenyang Blower Works Group announced it has been awarded the contract for two sets of centrifugal air compressors tailored for the 80000 Nm3/h ASUs for the 2 x 75000Nm3/h H2 from coke project of Shandong Fangyu Lubrication Oil Co Ltd. The company comments that the award of the contract signifies the reduction of dependence of import equipment and technology.

Hangyang receives order for two 105000 Nm3/h ASUs

Hangyang has just reported that it has received an order for two sets of 105000 Nm3/h ASU. The contract is signed with Ningxia Baofeng Energy Group and the two ASUs will be installed at the Ningdong Industrial Park in the Yinchuan City of Ningxia Autonomous Zone. These two plants are for the 2.2 million tonnes per annum(tpa)methanol project under the 600 thousand tpa coal to olefins project. Hangyang had supplied three sets of 52000 Nm3/h to Baofeng Energy Group in 2013 for another 1.5 million tpa methanol project.

Scheduled delivery and contract sum were not disclosed in the statement.
