The award recognises businesses that have been in business for more than 50 years and have played a significant role in the local and state economies.
Coastal Welding Supply was established in 1963 by the late Al Mazoch with one location. The welding and safety supplies and industrial and specialty gas company now has nine locations that span Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana.
Al Mazoch’s children, J.C. ‘Chuck’ Mazoch, President, and his sister, Barbara Mazoch Nelson, Asset Manager, accepted the award at the event.
Coastal Welding Supply was founded in 1963 by Al Mazoch and has over 50 years of experience in providing service to the petrochemical, metal fabrication, field construction, and maintenance and turnaround industries. Today, Coastal remains a family-owned organisation under the leadership of Al’s son, J.C. ‘Chuck’ Mazoch.
Coastal Welding has facilitated the delivery of tools donated by DEWALT to a workshop to be used for veterans’ retreats in Texas.
