Coastal Welding Supply of Beaumont, TX, and DEWALT Tools have partnered with the Lone Survivor Foundation (LSF) in order to supply tools and support for a series of four-day retreats for veterans to be held throughout the year.

Representatives of LSF and the retreat’s builder and facility manager, Brian Byrom of Brint Construction, were on-hand in March to receive power tools, work benches, tool chests, and other donated equipment, which they installed along with representatives from Coastal Welding Supply and DEWALT.

DEWALT Regional Construction Manager Rick Misenheimer, who first met with Jung and Coastal representatives, sent a congratulatory message and shared, “Our team provided the necessary work stations to be handicap accessible and mobile so that retreat attendees can enjoy working both inside the shop and outside on the patio.”

Empowering environment

Terry Jung, LSF Executive Director, sent a message of thanks: “The Lone Survivor Foundation is extremely excited to have DEWALT and Coastal Welding Supply as supporters. The workshop will be a great addition to the LSF Bolivar facility that will become a unique element of retreat activities for the service members. We see the workshop as a means of allowing retreat participants to work together while building peer to peer bonds in an empowering environment.”

J.C. “Chuck” Mazoch, President of Coastal Welding Supply, and his team spearheaded the project for LSF. “A special thank you to DEWALT, who has been a great Coastal business partner. With their support, we were able to facilitate the supply of tools required to create the Bolivar Lone Survivor Foundation workshop.”
