Gas systems manufacturer Witt has extended its range of pressure control equipment by unveiling its new dome-loaded back-pressure regulator.
The BPR2 pressure retention valve has been designed to keep the pressure of gases constant in processes, system components or tanks, but can also provide effective prevention against hazardous overpressure.
In contrast to spring-loaded systems, the device regulates a higher inlet pressure by only opening as much as necessary to achieve the required pressure at the inlet via its dome diaphragm.
The BPR2 is suitable for almost all technical gases, including oxygen, in the range of 0.5 bar to 20 bar, and covers a temperature range from -30°C to 50°C.
A statement from Witt insisted, “This dome-loaded pressure system ensures a very high precision. Irrespective of the volume or fluctuations in the gas flow, the pressure remains constant – and this is true over the entire performance spectrum of the device.”
Welding product manufacturer Miller Electric Mfg. Co. has unveiled its new 20 Series Single-Stage Flowmeter Regulators, which are designed to provide high argon (Ar) flow capacity up to 55 standard cubic feet per hour.
WITT’s new 737 LE-HD/S integrates pilot pressure regulation to allow for increase or decrease in gas pressure as soon as required by the application.
Month on month the gasworld website continues to be the primary portal for information, on a global scale, about our industry - be it through the provision of news and features, or information in the expansive company directory section. Launched in 2004, it is the only independent online news provider and information portal for the global industrial gas community and the larger end-user markets. The website also now incorporates news for gasworld US and Specialty Gas Report.
