ContiTech, a division of international technology company Continental, has augmented its presence in Mexico after becoming a major primary supplier for an industrial product and service distributor in Mexico.
Under the “product changeover,” ContiTech has become a primary supplier for Applied Mexico, S.A de C.V and its subsidiary RODENSA Mexico, S.A de C.V in the North American country and will provide industrial hoses, hydraulics, power transmission belts and other various products as part of the agreement.
The majority of ContiTech’s products will be locally manufactured in the US company’s plant in the state of Chihuahua and will be distributed to the Mexican corporations from its warehouse in San Luis Potosi city.
Applied Mexico is one of the largest industrial distribution networks in Mexico, with 22 facilities that provide industrial products for maintenance, repair and operational needs across the country. As such, Jim Hill, NAFTA CEO of Ohio-based business, stated, “This is a significant achievement for ContiTech.”

Applied Mexico’s General Director, Sergio Nevarez, reinforced, “The changeover to ContiTech will be a positive move for our customers. With most of the ContiTech products sourced locally, product availability will be even better.”
The ContiTech division is a global supplier of technical elastomer products and specialises in plastics technology. It develops and manufactures functional parts, components and systems for use in plant and machine engineering, the automotive industry and the mining sector.
