Control Devices, LLC, has expanded its product offerings after announcing the acquisition of Essex Industries’ medical gas regulator product line.
The acquisition increases Control Devices’ portfolio in the medical gas regulator space as Essex Industries has designed and commercialised medical gas regulators for patients requiring respiratory therapy in residential care facilities, hospitals, and clinics.
The Essex Industries’ medical gas regulator product line will be marketed under the Control Devices brand going forward.

Control Devices, a portfolio company of HBM Holdings since October last year, is a designer and manufacturer of highly engineered flow-control solutions in the gas, air and liquid markets. The Fenton, Missouri-based company offers customised and standard valves, condensate traps, refrigerant distributors, and other products that serve as critical components in end-product applications, including medical systems, air compressors, fire suppression systems, and specialty gas HVACR, and heavy truck braking systems.
Essex Industries, based in St Louis, Missouri, is an engineered products manufacturer focused on aerospace and defence.
