It is estimated UK hospitals will need 20,000-30,000 ventilators over the next six weeks to help treat patients suffering with severe effects caused by coronavirus.
The NHS currently only has 8,000 ventilators and Analox has issued an urgent call to any oxygen sensor manufacturers who may be able to help supply these critical components.
“If you are a manufacturer or distributor of 0-100% electrochemical oxygen sensors and think you could help supply these critical components please contact us very urgently,” the company said.
