The countdown is on for the British Compressed Gases Association’s (BCGA’s) 2017 Annual Conference.

Places are limited for the event, which is being held on the 6th April at the Marriott Hotel in Manchester, UK, as CEO Doug Thornton explained, “Each year the conference goes from strength-to-strength.”

The seminar will cover the latest advances in specialty gases, respiratory protection equipment, cryogenics and fuel cell vehicles.

Record-breaking adventurer Brian Jones will take to the stage as the event’s keynote speaker. The pioneering English balloonist made headlines in 1999 when he completed the first non-stop, around-the-world voyage in the Breitling Orbiter 3 balloon powered purely by hot air and helium.

He will detail his epic 20-day journey for delegates, highlighting the technologies and forces that made it possible.

“As in previous year, we’ve had a significant number of booking in the New Year and places are filling rapidly, so we’d urge those interested in attending to reserve their place soon,” urged Thornton.
