Cryolor to set up cryogenic gas container plant

Cryolor SA, part of the Air Liquide group, is to set up a cryogenic gas storage equipment plant, near Chennai.

It has been reported that Cryolor Asia Pacific, the Indian division of Cryolor SA, will manage the setting up of a gas storage plant at Melmaruvattur in Chennai, covering a built up area of 15,000 sq. m.

The plant is expected to manufacture storage equipment for liquefied gases, including oxygen, nitrogen, and liquefied natural gas (LNG).

It is claimed the first phase will be completed by 2010, with an initial investment of Rs.45 crore.
