CryoVation has completed a new industrial and specialty gas cylinder filling plant for Sims Welding Supply in Long Beach, California.
The facility features upgraded filling systems for gases, fully automated Liquifill filling systems for liquids, and a traversing manifold island that reduces cylinder movement and labour.
CryoVation provided customised equipment and a unique plant layout to meet Sims’ current and future production needs.
Sims Welding is a family-owned supplier of welding supplies and industrial, cryogenic and specialty gases and safety equipment. The project enabled Sims to replace a smaller plant in a neighboring town with a larger one at its corporate headquarters.
