Cryogenic services and equipment manufacturer CTR Inc. has received the annual CGA & GAWDA Distributor Safety Award, in the more than 100,000 employee exposure hours category.
The award was made during GAWDA’s Annual Convention in Maui, Hawaii last week.
Safety has consistently been a top priority of CTR Inc. since its founding in 1993, and the company prides itself on the safety and wellbeing of each of its employees.
Jim Payne, President, stated, “CTR is honoured to receive the CGA & GAWDA Distributor Safety award. We want to thank GAWDA and CGA and all of its members for the recognition. If it wasn’t for the effort and attention to a safe workplace that all of our employees put forth, this would not be possible. Thanks to all of the CTR employees, they deserve the credit for this prestigious award. Thank you.”
The award, sponsored by GAWDA (Gases and Welding Distributors Association) and the CGA (Compressed Gas Association), was created in 2012 to help promote safety awareness within both organisations. GAWDA and CGA presents the award annually to participating member companies that have recorded the greatest improvement in safety performance during the previous two years.
There are two divisions of the award; CTR was announced as the winner of the more than 100,000 employee exposure hours.
