American illusionist David Blaine has flown over the Arizona Desert by holding approximately 50 helium balloons of varying sizes.
The daredevil yesterday completed the journey which was live streamed on YouTube, boasting almost six and a half million views.
Tiled Ascension, the stunt was originally planned to take place between New Jersey and New York over the Hudson River, but was relocated more than 2,000 miles away in Arizona.
“Because of the complexity of this project, I’m not going forward with my plans to do New York City,” Blaine explained in a video published on 30th August.
Instead, yesterday he reached heights of approximately 25,000 feet, floating across the desert in part what he described as his most ambitious and revolutionary feat yet.
“Wow! That was awesome,” he shouted as he concluded his stunt.
