Day two of gasworld’s Asia-Pacific Conference is just about to start here in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, focused on digitisation and shifts in technology.

More than 240 delegates from 27 countries (and nearly 60 visitors to the exhibition area) have gathered at the Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel in the heart of the capital’s Golden Triangle area, just a short walk from two of the city’s most iconic landmarks – Petronas Twin Towers and KL Tower.

Under the theme Business Models & Tools for Success, the first day of the conference began yesterday exploring industrial gas business models, trending gases and safety and security.

Following the pre-dinner drinks reception, sponsored by Herose and Mack Valves, and the conference dinner last night, day two will turn its attention to digitisation in the gases industry and technology shifts in gases and applications.

Martyn Hammond, gasworld’s Publishing Director will open day two in just a few moments. The event’s theme will continue to be discussed and debated through presentations from:

  • Bernard Dhainaut, Vice-President for South East Asia and Pacific region – Air Liquide

  • Rob Cockerill, Global Managing Editor – gasworld

  • Doug O’Dell, Vice-President of Sales – TrackAbout

  • Henning Lyager, Sales Manager Asia and Middle East – Cold Jet

  • Mark Mckechnie, Business Manager – Chart Australia
