Analytical Flow Products announced the AFP Challenge winner at the Orange County Convention Centre.
Dr. Ed Overton of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge won the competition with his proposal. His entry suggested modifying the microFAST GC for use as a ‘point of care’ diagnostic analyzer using breath analyses.
AFP saw this as an opportunity to utilise its patented technology to address existing flow/sample problems. AFP will be working with Dr.Overton to implement the necessary valve hardware to complete his project.
The company are sponsoring his paper for Pittcon 2012, and funding his passage to Atlanta to present the paper.
