Scotland based Dominion Technology Gases has won contracts worth more than one million pounds to supply industrial gases to three of the North Sea’s oil and gas majors.

The largest contract with PSL is worth about £750,000 over three years and is expected to strengthen Dominion’s move into Norway next year.

Dominion general manager Paul McAlister hopes the relationship between the two companies will strengthen when Dominion opens a new production and supply base in Norway early next year.

He said: “We anticipate the new plant in Norway will bring even further efficiencies to the supply chain for companies working in our European field of operations.”

PSL Energy Services Ltd managing director, Doug Duguid, said: \\$quot;We chose Dominion as our cylinder gas and equipment rental supplier over any other supplier because the deal offered was market tested and found to be the best available to meet PSL's needs in terms of range and quality of supply, cost and additional value services.

Marathon Oil has also renewed its contract worth of £250,000 with Dominion for a further two years and Kerr McGee has signed a new contract for Dominion to supply industrial gases worth £100,000 for one year.
