In the year of its 125th anniversary, Dräger is heading to this year’s Safety and Health Expo to demonstrate some of the personal safety equipment and solutions which have helped establish the company as a leading international holistic solutions provider.
Offering an unrivalled service, Dräger produces a wide range of high quality fixed and portable products with the added security of training and servicing ensuring customers’ requirements are continually met.
Dräger’s ethos of “personal and plant safety at the centre of everything we do” will be demonstrated at the Safety and Health Expo in London next month where visitors will be able to find out more about a selection of innovative devices developed and manufactured by the safety technology giants.
On display at the stand will be the award-winning Parat Series escape hoods, launched earlier this year, which protect users from toxic industrial and fire-related gases, vapours and particles for at least 15 minutes in three simple steps: open packaging, remove hood and put it on.
In addition to flame detection and control systems, staff from Dräger will be on hand to demonstrate its wide range of fixed flammable and toxic gas detection devices, such as the Polytron and REGARD range of products and to explain the service, maintenance and design options that are available.
Visitors will also be able to learn about the gas safety and cost reduction benefits of the Dräger X-dock, an instrument calibration and management system which allows oil and gas companies to complete automatic bump testing and calibration in seconds, as well as offering a robust documentation and reporting function.
The leading safety specialist will also be showcasing the new X-com radio module, a device that links up with Dräger’s X-zone mobile gas monitoring system, and sends all measurement data from the X-zone group straight to users. This allows businesses to keep an eye on dangerous gas concentrations from outside the monitored area with one X-com able to monitor data from an interconnected X-zone group of up to 25.
The final day of the Safety and Health Expo will see Mark Burrup, drug and alcohol testing specialist at Dräger, give a seminar looking at the business impact of drug and alcohol misuse at work as well as exploring the costs, financial and otherwise, of this misuse.
The event will also offer an opportunity for attendees to help Dräger celebrate its rich 125-year history in the fields of medical and safety technology. This adds to the host of events planned across the globe throughout 2014 to celebrate the landmark year.
