WITT Gasetechnik GmbH, the German firm that prides itself by supplying technology for gases, is living up to the brand with its latest release.

Taking into consideration the demands of modern working patterns, WITT has launched a gas analysis module that enables remote monitoring through email.

The new device can be fitted to any gas mixing devices among the current WITT-Gasetechnik series. Thanks to the burgeoning growth of mobile internet browsing, firms can now monitor quality from almost any computer or mobile phone.

From cylinder to PC
The analysis module produces information as a log file in plain text (csv file). By its very nature, the resultant file will be compact. In simple terms, this means that information can be stored easily without consuming much disk space or memory.

Everyday, a data log can be automatically forwarded onto one or several recipients. Furthermore, using just an Ethernet interface, the original data can also be easily accessed through the company’s network. This information can subsequently be collated and processed through any spreadsheet.

Companies using Windows operating systems are offered even more benefits. Indeed these computers can utilise the specialised WITT software, ‘Web Visio’. This offers the added benefit of allowing gas control devices to be remotely controlled through any web browser.

The technology is currently seeing wide application in ATEX environments, where remote control and monitoring are especially important.
