The European Industrial Gas Association’s (EIGA) Winter Session, including the EIGA Symposium, will be held at the Dusseldorf Congress Centre on 30th & 31st January 2008.
Over 400 participants are expected from EIGA member companies from Europe, Africa and the Middle East, as well as representatives from National authorities, NGO’s, equipment manufacturers, customers and guests.
Representatives from EIGA’s associated members in Japan, Australia, Singapore and the USA will also be attending.
The session will begin on 29th January with EIGA’s internal Industrial Gases Council (IGC) and Medical Gases Council (MGC) meetings, followed by the Board of Directors meeting.
The Symposium programme will be opened on 30th January following the EIGA General Assembly, where member companies with the best safety performance will be recognised.
Open to non EIGA members, 22 presenters from European and US gas producers and suppliers to the gases industry will attract the audience over the course of the 2 day event, with presentations regarding good handling practices and regulations relating to ‘Safety in Distribution’.
