Air Liquide America Specialty Gases has introduced comprehensive calibration solutions for accurate monitoring of ethylene and propylene in product or polymer grade feedstocks.

Purity standards include 1 to 5 ppm moisture and 1 to 5 ppm ammonia, both in nitrogen; 0.1 to 1 ppm hydrogen sulfide in nitrogen; and 0.1 to 1 ppm hydrogen sulfide, carbonyl sulfide and methyl mercaptan tri-blend in nitrogen.

Air Liquide feedstock standards feature a 12-month shelf life for long-term stability and guaranteed ±5% accuracy that ensures precise analyzer calibration for error-free purity analysis. Low impurity levels protect analyzer sensitivity and provide extended, contamination-free instrument performance. Blend tolerance of ±10% ensures product consistency and integrity between orders while 10 to 20 working day lead times reduce the need for on-site specialty gas inventory.

Feedstock standards are offered in 140 CF aluminum cylinders that provide cost-effective gas quantity. In addition, Air Liquide offers zero nitrogen and ALPHAGAZ™ instrument support pure gases for single-source accountability. Scott™ high-performance gas handling equipment is also available for trouble-free gas delivery.

Air liquide has also introduced a new cylinder tracking system. Named DATAL ALert™, the system combines cell phone and Internet technologies to continuously monitor cylinder assets, while they are in use. The system features: online cylinder content with remaining deliverable quantity data; instantaneous pressure and liquid level data and trend reports; user-defined, remotely accessible low level alert set-points; alerts and reports via fax, email, web browser and smartphone; automatic “hands-off” product reorders; GPS location mapping of all cylinders in use; convenient interface with SHOP@airliquide™.

DATAL ALert will work with a single cylinder, or it can be configured to handle up to 12 cylinders on a single data port module. Additional modules can be connected either wirelessly or hard-wired. The system can easily be accessed remotely via computer, smartphone and even iPad.
