After a decade at the top of gas generator manufacturing and recently publicised facility expansions, Peak Scientific is now in a position to expand its product range, take on a greater volume of business and provide further improved services for its customers worldwide.
Peak Scientific has recently extended its facilities and a number of key departments, allowing more than 100 visitors from across the globe to take a look behind the scenes as part of its anniversary celebrations.
Having recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, the company is now looking towards an even brighter next 10 years and more immediately, a steady expansion for 2008. Managing director Robin MacGeachy summed up the company’s hopes as he revealed exclusively to gasworld, “It is amazing how quickly 10 years have passed. A sign of getting older maybe! It has had many ups and steady growth has been achieved. We would like to see a continuation of the same over the next 10 years as we expand our product range and market areas.”
In terms of growth and improvement, Peak’s facility renovations and extensions are likely to be key to the company’s continual progression and focused future ahead.
“By doubling the available space within the factory and offices we have been able to accommodate the increasing number of people at Peak Scientific. The increase in manufacturing space has enabled faster lead times and with room to expand we can take on more,” MacGeachy explained.
Peak Scientific won the Queen’s Award for International Trade 2007, the second time it has won such an award despite only operating for 10 years, and with an array of products and technologies currently under development the company may have more exciting news to come as the New Year unfolds. MacGeachy confirmed, “Peak has a number of new products under development for a range of applications. We will tell you more when we are ready to launch them.”
