A new force in the Middle East: With Saudi Arabia’s Rawabi Integrated Gas at the forefront


As 2022 drew to a close, the Middle East gases market faced a number of probing questions. How would it deliver decarbonisation with a carbon dioxide (CO2) value chain for tomorrow? How quickly could it get on top of this carbon management?

How serious is the region about ‘greening’ projects and de-fossilisation? Does the appetite exist for the optimisation of technologies across sectors?

These were all topics in the spotlight at gasworld’s MENA Industrial Gas Conference 2022 in Abu Dhabi in December. Clean energies, collaboration and scale-up of technologies, projects and investments were the key takeaways from the event in the UAE (United Arab Emirates).
