New legislation and policies related to decarbonization has led to an increased demand for hydrogen compression systems. The business is developing, and so are the number of requests from new customers, but how is Atlas Copco approaching this venture?
A lot comes down to awareness and knowledge, both from Atlas Copco to the customer and vice versa. “When it comes to green hydrogen compression requests, we work closely with our customers and listen to their enquiries. In turn, we learn what is important to them and identify new applications for our products,” says Alfonzo Peschiera, Global Product Manager for High-Pressure Gases & Service at Atlas Copco.
In working with these companies, Atlas Copco has learnt that reliability is the number-one priority for many of its customers. Next to reliability, adaptability also matters.
