Co-founded by George Grillo in 1971, Cryofab Inc has grown from a small manufacturing shop into a multi-million-dollar, worldwide supplier of cryogenic vessels, containers, valves, and transfer lines. Vincent Grillo, current Co-President of Cryofab, recalls, “In 1981 a customer approached my dad to design a 250-liter self-pressurized, non-magnetic liquid helium dewar to facilitate the safe delivery of liquid helium to hospitals for MRI charging and refilling. No-one had attempted it previously, and his attitude was, ‘We can figure this out.’
“I watched that project unfold and achieve incredible recognition and success. It was an ‘a-ha’ moment for me. It is when I realized that we do not simply manufacture high-quality cryogenic products; our role is to provide solutions to customers who have extremely specific needs and goals.”
Gregory Grillo, Vincent’s brother and Cryofab Co-President, continues, “One of the things that separates us from other companies in the field is our ability to pivot, adapt, and respond quickly to requests from our customers.”
