Most independent distributors in the US industrial gas market are very established, and, despite consolidation in the space, there are hundreds that are active and dynamic, while offering an alternative service to the majors.
Things are slightly different in Canada. Here, independents only represent around 3% of the country’s industrial gas market, worth a collective $64m between them, according to gasworld Intelligence.
