Cryogenic freezing for industrial hemp


The fast growing global industrial hemp market is expected to triple in size by 2027, from a current market size of $5 billion in 2020 to approximately $15 billion, according to a report by Grand View Research.

As demand for hemp-related material (oil, seed, fibers and specific cannabinoids) grow in industries ranging from medical and pharmaceutical, to food and beverage to textile and building products, the use of cryogenic freezing can play a key role in protecting the quality of cannabinoids from harvest, through extraction and final processing.
