Equipment in the LNG supply chain


The natural gas supply chain from the natural gas wells to customer’s vehicles, houses, or industries presents two different distribution channels. These are the transportation of the gas in its gaseous form through pipeline grids, and the transportation of the gas in its liquid form through LNG shipboards, semi-trailers, trains, and intermodal containers.

The most developed transportation way for natural gas remains the grid.

Nevertheless, in some countries or locations where there is a poor pipeline grid, or inappropriate geography, the use of natural gas is limited and it remains difficult to be supplied with this source of energy.
