Indianapolis: Home to two major sports league clubs, four universities and also the host of the 2022 Gases and Welding Distributors Association (GAWDA) Spring Management Conference. After a morning of committee meetings, day one of the event saw networking and meeting and greeting in focus. With a lot of brand-new faces on-site, attendees were invited to attend the Women of Gases and Welding meet and greet, the Newcomer’s Reception and the President’s welcome tailgate, held in the renowned NCAA Hall of Champions – and what a venue it was.
Day two kick-started with a GAWDA welcome, in which Bob Ewing, President of GAWDA, welcomed the eager crowd. For this, attendees all gathered in the White River Ballroom and got their first taste of the jam-packed day that was set to take place. Sales growth and plays, leadership and people development, and supply chain were the focal points, and allowed for ultimate discussion and debate.
