It’s a painstaking process, a case of financial commitment, research, design, test, research some more, tweak the design, check and test again…and repeat. But the goal is worth the effort. And we believe that the goal is achievable.”
Claudio Lanzarini, Director of Engineering at FIBA Technologies, is explaining the time, effort and investment that FIBA has committed to developing a more economic vessel for the high pressure storage and transportation of gases. FIBA manufactures gas storage solutions in Littleton, Massachusetts and exports globally to gas majors, distributors and end-users.
With the uncertainty surrounding most major economies, due to various factors including Ukraine and Covid, the demand for a more economic way of storing and moving high pressure gas has become more urgent. This is a task that involves a whole range of key players, not least Argonne, the science and engineering research center committed to developing energy innovations.
