New owners of USA Cylinder target regional growth
Molly Burgess talks to USA Cylinder CEO Brittany Carrico about the company’s plans, with twin centers now in Tennessee and California
The US packaged gas market is growing year over year, and the opportunity is getting stronger. It’s a trend that sister duo Jennifer Hylin and Brittany Carrico long ago noted – and one that made them want to pivot their family’s original business and take things further.
At the start of the year, their company California Cylinder acquired USA Cylinder, based in Tennessee, and adopted the new name. The purchase came with a new headquarters and myriad growth opportunities, increasing capacity by 20% to 30%, plus a new top team.
